Within this assignment, you will understand and analyze two different theories within
General Psychology. You will research these two theories, create a case study to help explain the
theories, then briefly compare and contrast the theories.

Paper description (100 pts):

The paper will need to be four to five pages, (double spaced, 12pt font) in APA 7 format.
The majority of the paper will be comparing and contrasting the two theories. (Hint: it might
help to include the case study to help explain). You should have seven references, two need to be
from peer reviewed journals. Reference page is not included in the page count.

Layout headers should include:

 Introduction (one paragraph)
 Literature Review (two to three paragraphs per theory)
 Compare (two to three paragraphs)
 Contrast (two to three paragraphs)
 Discussion (one to two paragraphs)
 Reference page

Presentation description (100 pts):

The presentation needs to be three to five minutes long. It will need to include the case
study, explanation of the two theories and how it relates to the case study, brief compare and
contrast. (Note: this presentation is also intended to be a review before the final). Presentations
can be prerecorded.
