INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the HydraFacial MD® Elite™ System, a revolu-
tionary breakthrough in aesthetic technology! The HydraFacial® is the
next generation of exfoliation and skin rejuvenation done simultaneous-
ly. The process removes dead skin cells and impurities while simultane-
ously Vortex-Fusing™ the underlying new skin with cleansing, hydrating
and moisturizing skin solutions and antioxidants. The procedure is
soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and very effective. You can have the
utmost confidence in this leading-edge system manufactured in the USA
by Edge Systems LLC.

The HydraFacial MD® Elite™ may include other modes of operation in


addition to the HydraFacial® mode. The system, with all of its optional
modes, is intended for use in hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices, and in
aesthetician’s offices by trained doctors and/or licensed aestheticians
(Please consult your state board for regulations). The following is a tech-
nical description of the unit purchased and the intended use.

HydraFacial® mode: The HydraFacial MD® Elite™ system is a USA Food


and Drug Administration (FDA) listed Class I exempt medical device; - This page is intentionally left blank -
Class II medical device in Canada. Its intended use is to abrade the up-
per layers of the skin by operator controlled motion, in order to smooth
the skin surface and improve the appearance of skin, i.e. fine lines and
wrinkles. An additional feature is the capability of introducing topical
skin solutions during the procedure.

The HydraFacial® handpiece tubing chambers must be cleaned and dis-
infected using the cleaning brush every week to prevent any bacterial
contamination.
