SPEAKING UNIT 20, 21, 22

UNIT 20:
U: Long time no see you, Tham. What are you doing?
T: I’m glad to see you again. I’m watching the diary which i wrote when i was 15 years old.
U: That sounds fascinating. So have you ever regretted anything during that period?
T: Yes of course. let me remember. i gave my parents a liard time. when i was in grade 9, almost all my
friends had an electronic bike. therefore, I also ask my parents to buy it for me. i put pressure on them to
buy it for me although my parents just spent all their money buying a motorbike for my brother to get to
work. I wish I had empathized and loved my parents more.
U: Well, so if you could do it over, what would you do differently?
T: I wish I’d get involved in activities, which could help me gain more soft skills and more confidence.
now, you can see I’m quite timid.
U: Well, I think currently you can still do it.
T: Ok. what about you? Have you ever done anything that makes you regret it?
U: Absolutely. Two years ago, when I chose a university to pursue my passion, my mother objected me.
I felt angry and I didn’t want to talk with her during a long time. But at that time, the covid-19 pandemic
was happening, my mother didn’t want to live with my family but I didn’t understand. I wish I had
sympathized and raised awareness of that early so that I wouldn’t make my mother upset.
T: What is another wish you had done?
U: I wish I could take part in a club which is related to volunteer and community. Because I wanted to
help the homeless people have a happy life and they wouldn’t feel lonely.
T: ok. that’s right.
UNIT 21:
U: Hi Tham, did you go to the movie last night?
T: Hi Uyen. That’s right. But why do you know?
U: I also went there. So what movie did you watch?
T: I watched Harry Potter. It started out kind of depressing, but by the end, it was really exciting
U: What was about it?
T: After harry potter’s parents pass away, he moved to live with his aunt. on harry’s 11th birthday,
hagrid came to Harry and brought him to Hogwarts Magic School.
U: What happened after that?
T: He and his friends, with their courage and intelligence, have uncovered countless dangerous secrets
hidden in the magical world.
U: Wow, it was really fascinating.
T: That’s right. What about you? What did you watch?
U: I watched “Nha Ba Nu”. It was very heartwarming with viewers especially teenagers.
T: what did the film talk about?
U: It talked about the daughter was ambition but her mother objected her to do. So she made off from
home to start her dream with her boyfriend. But after a long time she realized that her dream which it
unsuitable and she wish she had listened to and obeyed her mom.

UNIT 22:
T: Hi Uyen, what are you doing?
U: I’m preparing for my presentation. The topic is describing a new song that you have recently listened
to and you are really interested in.
T: That sounds exciting. So what song do you choose?
U: I just found out about a new song which was named Nothing on you. The melody and rhythm of that
song make me feel relax and comfortable after school. Let’s listen together.
T: Well, that’s right. And how do you feel about the singer’s voice?
U: I consider that her and his voice is quite warm and hook the listener so recently have you listened to a
new song?
T: Yes of course, that is Set me free, which brings hip-hop melody
U: Wow, maybe that is your favorite melody. is that right?
T: Exactly, that creates a more bustling atmosphere and I will have more energy to work. have you ever
listened to this song?
U: It’s strange to me. But when I get home now, I will try it.
