ANNUAL REPORT

THE SALVATION OF CHRIST MISISON ASSEMBLY,
JESULAYOMI PARISH
AT THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF SCMA 2023
DATE: MAY 11TH 2023.
INTRODUCTION:

On behalf of the Pastorate, Elders and the entire congregation of SCMA

Jesulayomi Parish, we appreciate the Almighty God for his loving-

kindness towards us. We are indeed beneficiaries of God’s grace and

faithfulness via his word and manifestation of the Holy Spirit at all

times. May his name be praised.

We also appreciate the General Overseer in person of Pst. & Pst. (Mrs)

Olaniyan O. Peter for their support in the advancement of the work of

God. We also appreciate the Assistant General Overseers and other

ministers for their support and commitment to God’s work.

This report is a summarized document meant for the purpose of this

conference; indicating the happenings and development in our parish

thus far.

Prayer Life:

SCMA Jesulayomi Parish has a structure that facilitates the culture of

corporate prayer. Apart from the statutory mid-week program, the

parish also holds a quarterly fasting and prayer program. Additionally,

there is a morning prayer for the Spirit-Move; it holds every Sunday


between 7:00-7:30am, before the commencement of Sunday school

program. These prayer programs have produced undeniable testimonies

in the lives of the congregation.

Evangelism and Visitation:

SCMA Jesulayomi considers the importance of evangelism and

visitation in church growth and development. In furtherance to this,

Second Sundays of every month is set-aside for evangelism and

visitation activities. The Resident Pastor leads the evangelism team

comprising of ministers, some elders to specific locations that have

been agreed upon. Regularly, members that were absent during services

are contacted by visitation to their respective residences or through

phone calls.

Sunday School:

The Parish has a functional Sunday school unit with six (6) teachers for

3 classes which are two Yoruba classes and one English class.

Service Units:

The Parish has the following units, where workers serve in, they are:

choir unit, ushering unit, media unit, sanitation unit and security unit.
Numerical Strength: 70 Members

Challenges:

• In terms of infrastructure the parish has decent Equipment that

makes service on Sundays and mid-week comfortable. However,

the church is need of musical instruments.

• Also, the poor state of the road leading to the parish is a major

concern.

• The Juvenile church also requires urgent attention in no distance

time for the comfortability of children.
