The Work of Paint

6.1. Paint Job (Painting)

6.1.1. Scope of Work:

This work includes the procurement of materials, equipment, labor to
carry out the work of painting on the entire surface-surface-surface other
surface in accordance with the drawing.
Work which is not included in this section:
- Paint is included in other sections.
- parts that are not visible, such as shafts, the top of the plafond.
- Finish metal, unless there is another explanation in the picture.
- mechanical and Electrical Equipment.

6.1.2. Job Control:

The whole work must comply with the standard as follows:
NI – 3 – 1970
NI – 4 – 1972
ASTM – D – 3363 (Powder Coating)
A – 153 (Galvanizing)

6.1.3. Materials:
Paint Decorative/Iron/Wood: ex Propan/Jotun/Dulux ICI/Nippon
Wood Finishing (Varnish): ex Propan Raya/equivalent

a. Paint Iron/Steel/Metal that will be painted must be cleaned of rust, oil and
the crust by means of rubbing, scrubbing with a steel brush, metal, then it
should be covered with paint meni, priming and final paint with layers as
follows:
1. Paint for steel/metal interior Oil Paint:
When the iron/steel/metal still rusty, apply first the Rost-X 77 (2 x
lapis) prior to application of the primer.
• one (1) coats of Primary = Alkyd Primer AP-291 Zinc Chromate
(1x 40 microns dry) green primary) – for a non galvanized iron
• two (2) coats of Top Coat = Synthetic 2000 (2 x 40 microns
dry)
Finish: Gloss.

 2. Paint for steel/Metal Exterior:
When the iron/steel/metal still rusty, apply first the Rost-X 77 (2 x
lapis) prior to application of the primer.
• one (1) coats of Primary = 2K Epoxy EDP-551 Zinc Chromate
(1x 40 microns dry)
• two (2) coats of Top Coat = Metalkote 2K PUT-603 (2x 40
microns dry)
Finish: Gloss.

b. Paint A Wall Outside (Exterior)

After plastering the walls to dry then apply new wall can be implemented
in the following way:

k. Examples and materials to care

1. The contractor must prepare a sample painting every color and type
of paint on transparent areas the size of 100 x 100 cm²
2. And on the fields must be attached with a clear color, paint formula,
the number of layers and type layers (up to priming of the layers
end).
3. All fields example must be shown to the Giver and the Task Planner.
If these examples have been approved in writing by the planners and
the directors of the field, then the Contractor proceed with the
manufacture of such examples listed above.
4. The contractor must submit to the giver of the tasks, at least 2 pail of
every color and type of paint used. Tin paint cans should be tightly
closed and the lists with a clear identity in it. This paint will be used
as a backup for the care Giver, by assignment.

6.1.4. Implementation:
1. Paint the wall/wall
a. Before painting the wall started the contractor must make. Examples of
color to the field for the board of directors approved
b. The contractor should carry out painting over all. The surface according to
the rules that are described by the manufacturer paint makers

 c. Surface areas will be painted must be cleaned first of all dirt, dust, oil and
made a mean in the state dry with moisture content max. 15% and the ph
is between 7-8 as well as in test using the appropriate gauge.
d. The required staining the walls using a roller or on places in accordance
with drawings or instructions directors texture spray field.
e. Painting done at least 2 (two) times, the color should cover and
performed on the interior and exterior walls in accordance with the maker
of the factory instructions and field board of directors approved exterior in
accordance with factory instructions and author the approval of the board
of directors of the field.
f. Painting in order to be implemented until close to perfection (which can
be achieved in advance).

• Before painting the early alkali levels calculated wall with the
measuring instrument.
• Give 1 priming layer, paint in the form of alkali resisting primer
white that has a high alkaline durability, power and power lid
latched onto a fine as well as antifungal material levels high
enough. Priming is called Alkali Resiting Primer.
• Prepare the required staining equipment, such as a brush,
roller, bucket, mixer and others.
• time lapse between each layer should be long enough.
Theoretically between 2-4, but preferably at least 8 hours or
overnight.
• For similar colors, contractors are required to use tin cans with
the mixing number (batch number).
• Any paint job is finished, the wall is intact, flat, slick, no part of
the striped walls and guarded against doping-doping.
• The results of the final painting is perfect not reflected and
approved by voters the task or his Deputy.

2. Paint the iron/steel/metal

a. The contractor should clean the iron/steel/metal that will be in the paint
before painting
b. If the iron/steel/metal rusting, still doing treatment using rost-x77 to
convert the rust into a black iron, before priming applied anti rust.
c. Implementation of anti rust paint job should be in accordance with the
manufacturer's application concerned

 d. The contractor must submit to the board of directors of field rules the use
of factory paint maker approved.
e. Cat brought to the field of work must be in original tin cans from the
factory, complete with label companies, brands and so on.
f. Is this job was repainting the entire parts of the iron railing stairs and
other iron work that is specified in the picture.
g. Paint used is the type of iron paint.
h. Paint job was done after the field that will be painted, finished the mashed
with sandpaper and free of dust, oil and others.
i. Connection of las and the ends are sharp also in cat adjusted to rule the
way applications paint from the manufacturer concerned.
j. Cat brought to the field of work must be in the original dr. Tin cans
factory, complete with label companies, brands and so on.
k. Painting done by spraying with compressor 3 layers.
l. After the painting is finished, the paint must be slick, intact, shiny, no
bubbles and guarded against impurities.

3. Wooden Menie
a. This is a job which included repainting the entire surface of multiplek
plywood that will frame, painted ceiling (if any), door-frames or other
parts of the specified picture.
b. Menie used was menie wood.
c. All wood should only be coated in the menie project footprint and got the
approval of the planner/deputy giver task.
d. Before the job was done menie/field of rough wood must be mashed with
sandpaper rough wood and fine wood sandpaper until the surface slick
field/flat.
e. Menie work done using brushes, layer, done in such a way so that the
field of wood covered with a layer of menie.

4. Ceiling
a. What is meant in the ceiling paint job is Gypsum Board ceiling, Concrete
Plates or other parts of the specified picture.
b. Cat used Cat Eco Gypsum (Gypsum) and Decorlotus for Concrete Plates.
c. For Painting Gypsum ceilings, there is a painting of the base in the form of
a white cat plafond with a basic 100% Acrylic Emulsion and has the power
to say and a good content resource. Priming is called the primary Gypsum
Eco Special Acrylic Emulsion Primer for Gypsum Board.
d. Connection-connection Gypsum Board should be given the compound so
as not to appear as cracks after painted.
e. For painting a concrete Plate, give 1 priming layer, paint in the form of
alkali resisting primer white that has a high alkaline durability, power and
power lid latched onto a fine as well as antifungal material levels high
enough. Priming is called Alkali Resisting Primer.

5. Wood Paint/Spray Duco
a. Wood will be painted should be at first with sandpaper so that the engine
got a smooth surface and in accordance with the specifications.
b. Surface that will be painted should be clean from dust, oil, grease and in
dry conditions.
c. Cracks and small holes in the wood must be filled by the wood putty.
d. Material paint used must be of the best quality and the board of directors
approved field.
e. Painting must be done with a spray and as far as possible be kept away
from other work disturb the work and results of the painting.

6. Paint the floor

a. Quality of the concrete floor painting for at least K-250, with age of the
concrete at least 28 days, as well as the moisture content of less than 5%
and in test using the appropriate gauge.
b. Before painting basics, the contractor must perform concrete surface
grinding with the purpose to open the pores of the concrete.
c. After grinding concrete, the surface should be cleaned with a perfect, free
from dust, oil, and others
d. If water content of more than 5%, before applicable basic painting,
should be applied Epoxy Cement Polyfloor in advance.
e. Ways of painting applications must comply with the rules of the
manufacturers concerned.
