 INTRODUCTION
we have done little estimation and research on different ways of transportation as our
domain is “public transportation”. We found many ways for transportation but as per our
views ELEVATED BUS can change the whole definition of public transportation like BRTS
bus, auto rickshaws, taxi or personal vehicles. So we prepared some materialistic work
speaking on behalf of us about our very small research.
We have focused more on our domain in our work so that we can actually compare
and get knowledge of all this things.
Our work will lead you toward our main topic like a tree’s root to its smallest branch.
Starting from the wide domain and ending to main topic.

 MIND MAPPING
It is to present the different ways of transportation. Though our main focus is on
“ELEVATED BUS” which is environment friendly so our theme for mind mapping is
presented with a tree. Map shows that transportation is a main root and via air, water, road,
rail it is possible so they can be consider as its branches. And all the sub branches tells us
something about their main branch.

 EMPATHY MAPPING
Our domain is public transportation and we started it all with gathering information
on types of transportation. Referred some case studies and gathered information about
transportations through road. We visited ‘KARGIL CHOWK’, Surat which is constructed
near S.V.N.I.T, we captured some pictures of activities going over there.

Our selected user is a Driver.

Our selected stakeholders were common pubic, government servants, joggers, transportation
companies, vendors, business men.

 PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT CANVAS

 Purpose:

Purpose of our project is public transportation i.e. using elevated bus.

 People:

People involved in the product development are Engineers, common people, public
servants, businessmen, vendors etc.

 Product Experience:

People will be able to experience easy and fast transportation that will be more
cheaper .

 Product features:

Elevated bus is the bus that runs above the general vehicles running on the roads. It
can be a great replacement of BRTS which is currently running on our roads. Using
this idea we can solve the problems of traffic caused by the BRTS bus. It will be the
innovative change in transportation systems though it can transport such a large
number of the passengers and also runs on the electricity like trains. So we can reduce
almost 30% of the pollution which is caused by the private vehicles and the other
traditional transportation systems used by the people.

 Components:

Components of general transportation are roads, rails, air and water. But for our
project major components will be electricity, tracks for elevated bus.

 MODEL
Well, to explain our topic of elevated bs we have prepared a very basic model that can
give you a idea that how it will work.

 As we can see the elevated bus s featured with solar panels on its transparent roof that
allows sunlight to enter in the bus. And solar panels generate electricity anytime while it is in
sunlight. Due to this features it is able to reduce 30% of our city’s pollution. And if it could
replace almost 85% of vehicles it can reduce pollution upto 70%.
