The first objective is to determine whether the proper health measures are being taken there. Which ISO is being followed in Kohinoor Textile Mills. Whether all the equipment and machinery are being used with health and safety measures. Is proper training being given to the workers working there? Ensuring that all the workers there are aware of health and safety measures. Checking if Ear plugs or noise-canceling headphones, Face masks, Gloves, and Proper attire that covers most (if not all) exposed skin is there. Checking if cleaning of the mills and air ducts to eliminate flammable dust before they become an issue, Guards on the machines, and Proper air and temperature, so workers and equipment will not overheat, is being carried. Is the overall health and safety policy of the organization and the internal structure for its implementation adequate, e.g. are the responsibilities of the appointed persons clearly defined? Does the safety statement contain a systematic hazard identification and risk assessment for the workplaces covered? Are risk assessments carried out regularly as risks change and are necessary improvements made to keep the health and safety management system up to date? Are the necessary safety controls required for a safe workplace identified and implemented, eg ensuring safe entry and exit, good housekeeping, clear passages and internal traffic control? Written safe procedures are available for those operations that require them, e.g. for routine processing and support activities, handling and use of chemicals, preventive maintenance, maintenance of plant and equipment breakdowns, accident and ill health investigations, emergency planning, assessment of requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE)? Procedures are available to monitor the implementation of security systems and control measures, e.g. are security audits performed? Is health and safety training provided and does the training provide employees with sufficient information about the risks they may be exposed to?
