The RS Universal Keyboard Encoder is designed for use with Application Notes

All output codes are in hexadecimal. A1/B1 etc. refers tothe A/B e.g.Key at A1/B1
matrix designations of each encoder connection port. Figure 1 51 = upper case code
for connector pin idents. These correspond to the idents on 71 = lower case code
each sealed keypad. RS instruction leaflet REF. 8777 & 9044. 11= +CRTL code

If F1, F2, F3, F4 are required, the 4-way keypad should be NSF = no specific functtion
connected to encoder connector D, connections A11 (common),
B1, B2, B3 and B4. If cursor control keys are required, the 4-way keypad should be
