IRVINE, Calif. - One of the top 100 design firms in the country, H. Hendy Associates, hired its first

marketing director as part of a plan for national expansion, said Henri Hendy, president and founder of H.

Hendy Associates.

The new marketing director, Pattie Breland, will assist in managing business development activities and

five years, said Hendy.

Opening offices in New York and Chicago, HHA’s expansion comes directly after Architectural Digest

named it one of the top 100 design firms in the country, the only one in southern California. “HHA is

growing, and its effort to share its experience with new markets is an opportunity for me to expand my

knowledge at such an accomplished firm,” said Breland.

Breland has 21 years of experience working at JCM Facilities Planning and Management, and before that

Property Management Los Angeles, and before that Lehrer McGovern Bovis, each for seven years, said

Hendy.

Line-X

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Line-X is releasing its new, lifetime guarantee, spray-in-place polyurethane

elastomer that adheres to any surface, available Oct. 1, said J.B. Burtin, president of Line-X.

Formula CIF, only needs to be applied once, comes in seven colors and three textures, and has

applications from walkways, steps, and roofing, to more industrial uses like heavy machinery, pipelines

and oil and gas equipment, said Burtin. “CIF is tolerant to extreme heat and cold, it is impervious to most

acids, solvents and caustics, it inhibits corrosion and improves footing when wet, it really has an endless

amount of potential applications,” said Burtin.

The formula is approved by the environmental protection agency because it resists UV damage, contains

no volatile organic compounds that damage the ozone layer, is safe for children and pets, and with a

lifetime guarantee it requires less production and transportation, said Burtin.

Line-X is known for their spray on truck bed linings but after seeing a gap in the market and five years in

development, Formula CIF will be available at any of the 439 Line-X dealers nationwide, said Burtin.

Application of the formula must be done by a Line-X associate as the process involves mixing two

compounds to 140 F, then spray on the surface at 2000 psi. It dries in five seconds, allowing overhead

spray with no drip for a clean finish everytime, said Burtin.

For more information visit the nearest Line-X dealer or call 714-850-1370, operators are standing by.

BATON ROUGE, La. - 4-H high school members earn the opportunity to attend an overnight workshop

to solve one of Louisiana’s top-ten environmental issues, said Fred Sanders, co-coordinator of the

workshop.

Students spend the weekend at Camp Grant Walker in co-ed groups to research, plan and present a

250 positions to its current 1,600 employees on $175 million annual payroll, said Robert C. Butler, senior

International Paper, the second largest paper company in the world, will consolidate its human resources
