Imagine you are teaching this concept to your peers. You want them to think about what questions
they need to consider at the end of the unit.

Have a look back at the work on how the focus changes when the global context changes (Activity:
Globalization and sustainability).
You looked at how the global context changed from globalization and sustainability to fairness and
development.

Now think about how you would change the debatable question.

The debatable question for the global context: globalization and sustainability is ‘Can individuals
change the world?’

What sort of questions would you have for your debatable question if the global context changed to
fairness and development?
