System Request – Online Ticketing

Project Sponsor: Company H (GL Lizardo Trans/D’ Rising Sun)


Business Need: Reach new customers, improve services to old customers,
gather 5-star rating from customers
Business Requirement:
Through the Web utilization, customers must enter the company’s main website. The
passengers-to-be must input the needed information and complete the process
accordingly. For further instructions:
- Enter (URL) in any browsing application from their computers and mobile
phones.
- Register an account if they are regular passengers residing in Bontoc. If not,
registration is optional.
- Input the needed information with complete details
- Process the fees (Online payment and over-the-counter may do)
- Receive a payment confirmation together with their traveling schedule and
seat number/s
Business Value:
After convincing new customers and improving services, there is a certainty of profit
increase, which will be accumulated within few months.
Estimates of tangible value to the company include:
- ₱ 1, 150, 000.00 total profit less than a month
- ₱ 500, 000.00 increase from the new customers
- ₱ 300, 000.00 reduction for bus maintenance

Business Rules
The completion of the Business scopes the involvement of the Company and the web
developers. It will be under the company’s duty to monitor the progress of the web
developers, whereas web developers are given a month to finalize the company’s
website. This website then will pave a better transaction, enabling quality service, for
passengers as they choose to execute seat reservation online. The passengers will be
required to pay first before the confirmation of their trips. If they are not able to comply
within 12 hours, their seat reservation will not be granted.

Business Processes
The passenger will be opening the bus company’s official website. Optional registration
for them. Seat reservation proceeds. Payments must be processed first. Confirmation
will come on deck after payment. Schedule will be given along with the confirmation
letter.
