alterations made on a barren island. The construction of said facilities is
undertaken to promote tourism.
The outline of the island's initial framework
depicts the deserted surroundings

depiction of the island
following the remodelling portrays all the measures taken to enable touristry.
These include the construction of a pier to

The pie charts depict the proportion of travelers using five different modes of
transportation to commute to a university for work and study purposes in
2004 and 2009.
We can observe from the pie-charts that the ratio of people commuting by
cars significantly decreased from the year 2004 to 2009 while the other modes
of transportation witnessed an upward trend.

Margarine, Lowfat and reduced spreads and butter, over 26 years, from 1981
to 2007.
It is evident that butter and margarine were the primary spreads used until the
introduction of low-fat and reduced spreads.
The staple spread from the early 1980s till the early 1990s was butter. The
consumption of margarine followed a fluctuating trend over the years, from
1981 to 1986. The consumption decreased but then rose till 1991 and
remained stagnant till 1996 after which it started declining. The use of low-fat
and
reduced spread began from 1996 and rose sharply from the first year
2001 after which its preference decreased.

Sample Answer 7 band
The bar graphs are representing the total number of marriages and divorces
in eight varying countries througnout the period of 1981 and 1994. The
Curveved nations include the USA, Japan, UK, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Italy
and France. As it can be clearly seen in the chart, the rate of marriages in all
of the nations, excluding Denmark, had a sharp decline over the period of
survey. However, there seems to be arise in total divorce cases.
The bar chart represents that the marriage rate in 1981 in the US was the
highest in comparison to other nations, which was exceeding 10 per thousand.
On the contrary, in 1994, this number declined to 9 per thousand people. In
other European nations, including Italy, Denmark, Finland, France and the
United Kingdom, the marriage rate was approximately 6 for every thousand
people. In 1981, standing at 5 per thousand, Denmark recorded the lowest
number ofmarriages. The graph also shows that post 15 years, the marriage
rate fell further in most of the countries. However, in Denmark, the number
saw an increase, which was nearly 2 per thousand.
In 1981, Germany and Finland recorded almost the same rate, a little more
than 6 per thousand. Still, a significant drop was recorded in both these
nations. In Finland, the marriage rate declined to a little more than 4 per
thousand in 1994 and it was closer to 6 in Germany during the same time.
Also, from the divorce statistics, it is clear that the maximum rate of divorce
was seen in the USA, which was a bit over 5 per thousand in 1981. The divorce
rate of 1994 was compared to the marriage rate of 1981 in all of the countries,
including Denmark and the USA. The lowest number of divorce rate was

The chart demonstrates the difference between the average distance
travelled by a person in numerous transportation modes in Netherland in
2001 and 2006. In an overview, residents of Netherland commuted more in
2006 than 2001. Cars presented unmatched statistics among the provided
categories. Excluding walking, bicycles and local buses, most of the remaining
categories displayed overall growths in the distance travelled.
In detail, in 2001, a person covered 3,199 miles on average while driving his
own car. And this average distance increased to 4,806 miles in 2006. Apart
from this mode of conveyance, taking trains, using long-distance buses and
taxis also had significant growth in their figures, which went from 289 miles
to 366, from 54 miles to 124, and from 13 miles to 42 respectively.
On the contrary, walking and riding bicycles were not much favoured. Both of
