WORKSHOP WEEK #2

ACTIVITY #1

What I have been taught by my dearest teacher, and have always held in high

esteem, are the following methods/approaches/techniques: The Direct Method,

Grammatical Translation, Audio Lingual, Structural Approach, Communicative

Language Teaching, Community Language Learning, cooperative, thinking-

based, project-based, flipped classrooms, Design Thinking and Gamification.

ACTIVITY #2
• Approach: Project-based instruction and dictation.

• Method: Participant Observation and Surveys

• Technique: Learning and Vocal technique

ACTIVITY #3

Examples of teaching strategies include description, discussion, graphic

organizers, free writing, reading, problem solving, games and experiments.

ACTIVITY #4
Specifically, it was observed that the most used strategies in L2 learning and at

the university level were analysis, review of grammatical rules, division of words

and phrases, communication strategies, and the use of analogies and contrasts.

ACTIVITY #5

As didactic resources for the teaching of language and literature we have: reading

texts, texts for children's stories, literary works, magazines, newspapers,

pamphlets to promote reading development.

ACTIVITY #6
Set measurable and realistic goals, stick to them and create habits, integrate

language into daily life, learn the "right" words, visualize and pronounce the words

as you learn them, use technology to help yourself, practice singing, reading,

authentic pronunciation in real life, and finally connect language to new

experiences.
