Some basic information • The duration of the competition is 2 hours. • 24 problems to solve: eight - 3 points each, eight - 4 points each and eight - 5 points each. • Calculators are not allowed. You may use basic geometric tools. 2. Tips And Tricks for Math Kangaroo Competition • Understand the basics • Learn to calculate mentally • Spaced repetition • Analyze your strengths and weaknesses • Stay motivated and stress free • There are 24 questions in 120 minutes, so you should spend each 5 minutes on each question. • Don’t focus on a question too long. • Star the “puzzling” questions, then don’t forget to look back. 3.
