Clearing jams
If notes become jammed in the transport: GFS-220 and GFS-220F Quick Guide
1. Open the top cover and remove any notes from the upper transport.

1. Connect the power and switch the machine on.

2. Raise the feeder and remove the bundle of notes from the feed hopper.

2. Select a currency.

3. Close the top cover firmly afterwards, lifting the handle as you do so.

4. Open the middle section, using the green release levers, and remove any notes
from the lower transport.

The F1 to F4 function keys are programmable.


By default, F1 enables you to change currency.
3. Select a counting mode.

5. Close the middle section firmly afterwards.

Some counting modes have sub-modes, accessed by touching the button.

2. Feeding notes 5. Cleaning the machine
Attention Attention
Fan notes before feeding to separate them. This is especially important with new notes. We do not recommend the use of compressed air in cleaning.
Always use the note guides. They ensure that the notes are straight as they enter the feeder. Dust inhalation may pose a risk to your health and the dust is flammable.
Never feed notes that are torn, folded or held together with staples, paper clips or elastic bands. The propellant gases can be combustible and potentially explosive.

If required, mix a small amount of liquid soap with the water.

3. Setting the feed gap

If two or more notes are being fed at the same time, or consecutive notes overlap, the gap
needs to be smaller. If the feed is hesitant, the gap needs to be larger.
1. To make the gap smaller, turn the adjuster anti-clockwise by half a position.
2. To make the gap larger, turn the adjuster clockwise by half a position.

3. Repeat the adjustment until the machine feeds notes correctly.

4. Restarting the machine


1. Switch off the power.
2. Wait for five seconds.
3. Switch on the power.
