What is Optimization
Leverage and optimization are two totally different words. Everyone knows what [leverage]
is. That’s why they attempt to build an MLM residual sales organization. Why? So they can
leverage other people’s time, money and influence. But that doesn’t make them optimized.
Webster’s dictionary defines leverage as using “credit” or by using an effective motion. So,
for example, if you are a policeman with a pension plan, that’s leverage. That’s because
upon retirement, you would retire with better than 65% of your monthly pay---for the rest
of your life. That’s leverage.
Optimization is different and brings with it a far greater basket of rewards. To be optimized
means to take something AS FAR as it can go.
Webster’s says that optimization is, (1) “the most favorable method for growth and
reproduction and also (2) “to make the most effective use of all energies and resources.”
