CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Conclusion
The purpose of this research is to inspect the perception of learners about students integrity and
also to determine The impact of Face-to-face classes’ vs Online and Modular output: Academic
credibility and integrity among learners during pandemic. The survey tool used in this research is
a pre tested questionnaire. The method used for data collection is google form. This study used
the descriptive and causal research design. The study used purposive sampling technique which
is a non-probability sampling technique. The main tests are reliability of measurement
instruments, frequency distribution, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression
analysis. The findings reveal that technical problem has negative and significant impact on
dishonesty whereas students’ satisfaction and workload has insignificant impact on cheating
cases.

The results of this study conclude that significant and negative relationship between online class
vs actual classes because this problem increased in the distance learning and students are lose of
interest from distance learning because of some technical issues. The second independent
variable is connectivity problem and the result of this study conclude that insignificant impact of
cheating and the third independent variable student satisfaction has insignificant impact.

Recommendations

Results of this study recommend that in agreement with prior research technical problem of
distance learning is a main issue in students is focus and attention from distance learning. In
addition, student satisfaction and workload do not play a major role in predicting distance
learning field. These results shows that students are probably to cheat on distance learning if they
don’t easily access the internet, not comfortable communicating electronically and some issues
of learning management system. Its good option for the management and higher staff in the e-
learning institutes to arrange such educational programs and training which emphasizes on the
practical implication.
Distance learning universities have to resolve the technical issues. Students has the problem to
submit quiz and assignment through learning management system (LMS). This study
recommends that the management have to resolved the technical issues of LMS and practically
implement with efficient and effectiveness and make user friendly to the students. This study
also recommends that the technical issues can be decreased through the training sessions of
LMS.
5.3 Limitations and Future Direction
Since this study has focused on a small number of dropout students, the generalizability of the
results of this study is considerably limited. Finding of study cannot be implemented generically.
Data is collected from few e-learning universities in Pakistan. Therefore future study could be
conducted by choosing large number of universities with large sample size. Further, other factors
of dropout can also be examined in future study.
