Writers that made an enormous impact on the society:

 William Shakespeare - His writings greatly influenced the entire English language.
Once Shakespeare's plays became popular, they helped contribute to the standardization
of the English language, with many Shakespearean words and phrases becoming
embedded in the English language. He expanded the scope of English literature by
introducing new words and phrases and also introducing new poetic and grammatical
structures. The plots of his plays have been recreated so many times that no one could
even begin to quantify the level of his influence. He is also a big part of why plays are
even counted in the realm of literature — Shakespeare managed to reinvent a form, and
in doing so, he completely changed culture itself.
 Charles Dickens - He wrote novels based on his perception of the world and the social
issues of the everyday life. For Dickens, skin color, physical appearance, stand in life
doesn’t matter because we are all connected in our humanity. While the reason why
working children could no longer be ignored was Dickens’ vivid portrayal of child labor
that led to the Child Labor Laws and changed the way society viewed poverty. Dickens
also introduces the reader to a character named Joe, the fat boy who is obese, sleepy,
difficult to arouse, snores, and has peripheral edema in The Pickwick Papers. Dickens’
description described the symptoms of sleep disorder which led to a new field in
medicine.

 William Wordsworth – He found peace and comfort in nature.  So he centered his

works around the themes of beauty and simplicity in nature. Wordsworth's poetry is been
known to be influential, because of the emotional and moral responses he wrote about
nature and the simplicity of life. He took every aspect of nature and beautified it. He
brought out the hidden, true beauty of life and showed it to all those who read his work.
Wordsworth saw nature as the window to life and life's meaning. He believed that nature
held the answer to a simple, plentiful, happy, healthy life.
