A full copy of the disciplinary procedure is contained in the Project Health and Safety Plan. The disciplinary procedure applies to all personnel irrespective of position and seniority. Hazard Warning Signage Applicable Hazard warning signage’s shall be provided on site (Excavation signs, Men at Work, Speed Limit, Emergency Number, Emergency Response, etc.) by the Construction team, Environmental Litter and waste shall be controlled by disposal into designated covered skips/ containers. Waste collection, transportation and disposal shall be carried out only by companies registered with ECS Dubai Municipality. Wastes generated during the Dewatering works (food wastes and other) shall be collected at site and disposed through waste skips, The construction teams shall be responsible for ensuring this happens. Fuel and oils will be stored in bunded tanks and waste oils will be collected and disposed of by a licensed specialist contractor. Static plant, i.e. compressors, generators and pumps, will be sited over drip trays. Approval will be obtaining approval (permit for discharge point) for discharge of water pumped through dewatering Ground water shall be pumped away and disposed of as directed in the discharge license. Refueling of plant will not be carried out adjacent to water courses or rivers and mobile refueling bowsers will be equipped with spillage kits, containing absorbent mats and granules etc., for which specific training in their use has been provided by the manufacturer, Maintenance of plant all vehicle, plant and equipment will be carried out at designated places, Spill kits will be carried by the maintenance team. Check the verticality and true Horizontal plane of wall rectify as required. > Wet area walls (Shower area) waterproofing to be done as per the specs/Approved drawing. > Start tile at setting out point by snapping horizontal chalk line 90° angle with vertical, tile spacer distance from top of floor tile level. Below this datum line, fix temporary plywood to hold upper tile layout. Install the upper tile as per approved shop drawing. Adjust as required. > Setting out should be checked and approved by consultant prior to commence tile work (each type) Ensure correct spacing/location of wall tiles. Wall tile grooves should coincide with floor tile if tile size of wall is the same with floor, otherwise refer to approved shop drawing. > Provide approved adhesive beds over the substrate as per manufacturer's recommendation prior to placing tiles. Utilize PVC tile spacers as per approved size to maintain tile spacing. > Tile cutting to be made with tile cutting machine/nippers. Wall tiling to be extended above false ceiling minimum 100mm. Epoxy Grouting (Wet Area) shall start only after full hydration of tile glue as referred from material technical data and after all tiles were checked from hollow sound. Tile fixation should be done properly without hollow sound, Prior to start grouting, PVC spacers to be removed, tile joints to be cleaned removing thoroughly all loosed mortars and debris, provide at least 5mm grouting depth. > Tile curring around the services to be done properly. > Grouting joints to be filled with grout uniformly. Excess grouting to be clean-off with wet sponge before setting. Grout completed wall shall be protected against surface dust and contact pressures for minimum five hours. Use Mortar/cement slurry to grout the bedding mortar during tile fixation works. > Mechanical Mixer to be used for mixing the screed in ratio of 1:4 > Floor substrate for wet area: Waterproof application, leak test and its protection as per approved shop drawing to be completed, prior to start tiling works. > 1st course axis (X & Y), tle layout to be prepared as per approved shop drawing, and to be approved by the Engineer for location adjustments, prior to commence tile completion work (as per type). > Utilize PVC tile spacers as per approved size (2mm) to maintain tile spacing. > Ceramic tile to be immersed in water prior to its laying for the accent wall. Cutting to be made with tile cutting machine. Tile fixing should be done properly without hollow sound. > Slope shall be maintained in wet area floor tile towards floor drain as per approved shop drawing or as per Engineer's instructions. Tile skirting to be fixed as per approved shop drawing details. Grouting to be started after getting approval from the consultant. > Prior to start grouting, PVC spacers to be removed, tile joints to be cleaned removing thoroughly all loosed mortars and debris, provide at least 5mm grouting depth > Ensure the slope maintained property. > Grouting joints to be filled with grout uniformly.
