The adventure began one Saturday in August. As I was sitting around home,
I decided to head to Australia. I am an adventurous person and I don’t like
spending time in the boring city. I booked a ticket and to my surprise there
was a flight the same night.
As I took a seat in the plane I was already sure that I was going to experience
something astonishing. I knew that Australia is famous for its nature and
plenty of dangerous animals. I have already visited Asia and its rainforests
so I actually knew what to expect.
After my 3 hours flight I finally arrived in Sydney. As I have already
mentioned I don’t like city life so I left for a village on the outskirts. I had to
take a bus but don’t imagine an ordinary bus like ours. It was without any
doors or windows. It may sound crazy but I actually enjoyed it. I could see
from it the astounding nature and its inhabitants.
Some time later I arrived at the site where I was going to spend the night in
a tent in order to experience everything from up-close. I was exhausted so I
put up a tent and went for a short nap. Due to my tiredness the brisk nap
turned into a deep sleep. As I woke up it was in the dead of night when I
heard a strange noise. I went out of the tent and heard the sound coming out
of a bush. I am brave so I moved closer. It turned out to be a kangaroo! I had
mixed feelings. To my surprise the wild animal was scared and went away. I
was at a loss for words. I couldn’t go back to sleep so I spent the rest of the
night under the open sky.
