1. Mechanical Central Emergency workshop – Salwa

 As per request from Ashghal Customer / Contractor – Arrangement for


Ashghal Assets Like De-watering Diesel Pumps / Electrical /Hydraulic
Submersible pumps and Generator – Before deploying the Assets
arrange the site visit with customer or Ashghal Network Section find
the all necessaries requirements from them and install the our assets at
location for operation and conduct the preventive maintenance and
corrective maintenance of equipments and installation of de-watering
pumps operations , emergency installation of rain pumps in various
locations at hot spots and for STW and Pumping stations
 Preventive maintenance and site operations of All Types of Pumps,
Generators, Hydraulic Power units, submersible pumps at various
locations.
 Developing, testing and make modifications to mechanical equipment.
 Assisting with Mechanical Installations.
 Completing all duties according to applicable safety measures and
published procedures.
 Assisting field technicians with diagnostic checks and symptom analysis.
 Explaining technical issues to non-technical people.

equipment history record for Preventive maintenance and corrective
maintenance of Isolation valve, Air Valves for all PS Rising mains.
 Attending the emergency shutdowns, Diversion of Line and coordinate
with emergency repairing/replacement work for contractors and
coordinate with related STW plants, SCADA and pumping station
engineers for perform the emergency shutdowns.
 Approximate more than 50 Ashghal Projects - Manage smooth
commissioning of the project by Coordinating between the Ashghal and
the Contractor. Supervise and approve commissioning plans in
accordance with project guidelines. Review designs and supervise
onsite commissioning activities. Prepare and maintain commission
records of site observations, testing processes and checklists. Assist
with identification and redressal of commissioning and malfunction
issues. Carried out Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up
activity for new ashghal various projects and pumping station rising
main refurbishments projects and make ensure that they are safe and
meet the design requirements and as per approved drawings and
Reporting to project take over dept for PCC and FCC.

3. TSE NETWORK:

Responsibilities:

 Assisting the Mechanical Engineer in performing the contractual duties on


site.
 Maintaining a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work
approved or rejected, hours of operation, labour and equipment used, etc.
and sign at the end of each day.
 Interface with the public, especially residents and business owners adjacent to
the work to mitigate the construction impacts.
 Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take
appropriate action in a timely manner.
 Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and
environmental issues, ensuring the same complies with contracts / QCS
specifications, safety and health risk assessment and environmental mitigating
measures respectively on a daily basis.
 Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related
issues on site that may arise.
 Oversee and inspect all Mechanical work and ensure that installation activities
comply with contractual obligations and quality control standards.
 Receiving material inspection requests (MIR) from contractor, inspect all
Mechanical materials delivered at site and report on quantity and technical
compliance and sign off requests.
 Preparing / completing the necessary documentation prior to inspection of
the Works and process accordingly following completion of the inspection.
 Keeping, monitoring and follow up as necessary and maintain complete
record(s) concerning the execution of the works.
 Ensuring that the project quality control procedures are used for the
construction supervision works and monitors it for improvement.

types of bearings and check oil level and quality for rotating components.
