You are a government officer passionate about protecting the natural environment.
You are responsible of studying another country(Country A) to provide ideas for the
Taiwanese government to promote biodiversity.
Look up how Taiwan’s government campaigns for biodiversity.
Also choose another country to study how they conserve biodiversity.
How can ideas tweaked from that country be implemented in Taiwan’s biodiversity
conservation?
What can be done on the societal and governmental level?

Introduction (10points)
 What is biodiversity?(2points)
 Describe the biodiversity there. Include 5 different organisms there and their
interactions and importance(8 points)

Analysis (40 points)


 Overview of Country A’s policies and what they have done or plan to do to
protect the environment and promote biodiversity(15 points)
 Overview of what Taiwan does to protect the environment and promote
biodiversity(15 points)

New Campaign Plan(40 points):


 Plan demonstrates understanding of the importance of biodiversity and its role
in the environment (10 points)
 Strategies and initiatives are clear, simple, and focused on promoting
biodiversity conservation (15 points)
 Practical steps to protect biodiversity are provided and explained clearly (15
points)

Creativity and Originality (10 points):


 The campaign plan demonstrates unique and innovative approaches to
promoting biodiversity conservation (5 points)
 Student shows creativity in the design and presentation of campaign materials
(5 points)
