It gives me a great sense of pleasure to promote the candidacy of Ar. Aayusha Chapagain who is
applying to your prestigious university for Fall 2023. I had worked with her as her supervisor at Ridge
Arch and Engineers for a year. All this time, I had not come across anyone more eager to learn and
improve than her, which gives me the confidence to recommend her for inclusion in the exclusive
scholarship program of your prestigious university.
She began her professional architectural journey at our firm in 2019, where she worked as an intern.
Despite being a rookie, her work spoke volumes. Ranging from interior designs to the designs of
various kinds of buildings, she could do it all. Never did she give up while working on complex
projects, nor did she cease to be attentive to constructive criticism. Her optimistic approach toward
received comments never discouraged her but enabled her to improve drastically by learning from her
past mistakes. She completed all the work on time and hence, was very reliable. She was very curious
and had a longing for knowledge. As a result of such traits, she improved drastically over time and
could carry out entire projects independently. Her keen interest, however, lay in construction
management, and whenever she got an opportunity to work on it, she would give it her all. This trait
encouraged her to broaden her knowledge by applying for higher education.
Aayusha has developed strong command over communication skills. She readily opens up to her
supervisors whenever she is uncertain about approaching a doubtful subject. She used to track the
progress and informed us whenever any project reached significant milestones. She also shared all
information with her team members and ensured they understood the objectives well. Her outstanding
communication and academic records had led her as the theme coordinator of the Architectural
Exhibition organized by ASA (Association of Students of Architecture) held at Pulchowk, through
which I had initially come to know her. This same event and how she managed it had been the
primary reason for her acceptance as an intern in our firm.
Due to the qualities I see in her, I have written this letter of recommendation for her. She was an
invaluable asset in our firm, and I am sure she’ll be in yours too. Her intelligence, perseverance, and
inventiveness would make her suitable for research at your university. Seeing her earnest yearning for
higher education, persistence, and sense of purpose, I am confident she’ll be able to explore her full
potential and inevitably obtain excellent results in her future career. I lend her candidature my whole-
hearted support and wish her the best in her future endeavors.
