• ABS Rules For Building And Classing Steel Vessels. 2011 as amended.
• IMO “International Code on Intact Stability, 2008” as amended.

Please note our review is based on the following conditions:

1) The work is to be completed to the satisfaction of the attending ABS surveyor.

2) The following lightship characteristics are acceptable:

Lightship Weight 23617.236 tonnes

Lightship VCG 15.892 meters above baseline
Lightship LCG 112.283 meters FWD of AP (AP is Fr.0)

3) We found the changes to lightship characteristics after recent modification as compared to

previously approved lightship values shown in the existing approved final stability booklet, are
within acceptable limit. In view of this, we are pleased to advise that the previously approved
stability booklets remain valid. However, a notice is to be placed in red on one if the first few
pages of the approved stability booklets which states the actual approved lightship
characteristics should be used in all subsequent stability calculations supplied to the Master.

ESTIMATION REPORT

A copy of the endorsed lightweight calculation report should be put with the
approved stability booklet onboard for future reference. Refer to
MSC/Circ.1158/Annex.

ESTIMATION REPORT

In accordance with ABS Rules, IMO Resolution MSC.282(86), adopting SOLAS

Reg. II-1/3-5.2, and the IMO MODU Code 2009, the Shipyard/Installer is to
confirm that the equipment/system does not contain any form of asbestos. A copy
of a completed asbestos-free declaration form shall be submitted to the attending
Surveyor and the declaration form be verified by Surveyor during the initial survey
for the subject project. The attending Surveyor shall forward a copy of the
completed asbestos-free form to this office for record and file.
