Dear Office of Environmental Justice, DOJ:

Thank you for confirming receipt of the incident report submitted Tuesday, May 30th of 2023.

Is it possible that the DOJ Environmental Task Force for Puerto Rico, and the USVI please provide a dedicated email for
case reports in order to ensure more efficient communications?

Your response indicates that if more information is needed, then we will be contacted.  Is there a protocol yet defined for
individual case follow-up for those submitting reports?  Specifically, can a number be assigned to be used as a
reference?   Also, should other persons want to come forward and present additional information, then a reference case
number and direct email would be helpful to share with others.

When the DOJ Environmental Task Force resolves a case brought to their attention,  can the reporting party be informed
regarding the outcome?

It is likely that case investigations moving through this inter-agency approach will reveal policy gaps.  For example, this
case revealed that the notifications list from the Coast Guard could be better targeted, specifically regarding notices to first
responders located on Puerto Rico's offshore islands and coastal municipalities. Should policy changes be made as a
result of any case report, those who reported would likely appreciate notice of this.

Thank you for responding and consideration of any of the above points,
