Create a summary about the topic, comment of the topic, comments for the teachers,
and comments for the instructional materials.

Group 1 (Simple Aspect)

All verbs in the simple tense are included in the simple aspect (past, present, or
future). It is the verb form for expressing a fact. In its most basic form, a verb depends
on context and tense to determine whether an action is complete or on-going. The topic
is quite understandable since it was briefly discussed last semester. The student
teachers were not much of a help especially their lead teacher who just read in her
script without even expounding what she was reading. The instructional material used
was a slideshow; it was not visible since projector is not present. But the slideshow was
pretty colourful and creative. The only thing I’d like about their discussion is the
motivation because it was fun.

Group 2 (Perfect Aspect)

The perfect tense or aspect is a verb form that emphasizes that an event or
condition occurred before the time in question, frequently emphasizing the subsequent
state rather than the occurrence itself. Same as the first topic, this was discussed in the
previous semester. When they started their discussion, the motivation was hangman
which was according to Sir C-jae is not advisable since it promotes self-harm or gives
the children the urge to do so. Even though their start was kind of rough they recover in
the lesson proper. They expound and explain the topic well but the downside was their
instructional material (slideshow), it was not visible since they also did not use a
projector. My favourite part of their discussion was the last activity because of the prices
(cakes) and I was extremely hungry at that time.

Group 3 (Progressive Aspect)

The continuous and progressive aspects are non-habitual, imperfective

grammatical features that represent an unfinished action or condition in progress at a
certain time. For the third time, this was previously discussed last semester so it was an
easily understandable discussion. The lead teacher was so fast in expressing his points
but maybe it was due to nervousness since it was his first to lead. Also for the third time,
their instructional material was a slide show and no projector was available therefore it
was not really visible, what was written in the slides. But they did write the important
points on the white board which was really a great initiative. The activity was then again
a role play; this was used for the third time in just different situations. Overall, they give
what was needed to be gave and arguable the best discussion in comparing the first 2
reporters.
