At the end of 50 minutes discussion the Grade VI-Pilipinas students are
expected to perform the following with at least 75% level of accuracy.

I will group you into three groups. Each group will have a leader
and a secretary.

 Introducing of Incentive Chart
Each group will have a bank account. If the group will participate
and answer correctly I will deposit in your bank account The group
that can answer correctly will have 1,000.00, the group that
participate will be given 500.00 and the group that are well behave
will have 100.00. The group that will have the most money in their
bank account will win.

How do we change percent to decimal?
We change percent in to decimal by dividing the percent number by 100.
We can also change the decimal by moving the decimal point two decimal
place to the left then drop the % sign

Mr. Dennis B. Medado the Grade VI- Pilipinas adviser of Loboc ES wanted
to gift his students something useful since they do not have a graduation due to
COVID 19. He has P4,000 to gift to his students and went shopping to the SM
Savers Mall in Ipil. He found out that a two dozen staff toys cost P4,500 with a
discount rate of 10%. And two dozen of personal protective equipment such as
facemask, face shield and alcohol with soap cost P5,000 with a discount rate of 25%.

Answer: We solve for the Discount and Sale Price using the formula:

Discount (D) = Discount Rate (DR) X Original Price (OP)


Sale Price (SP) = Original Price (OP) – Discout (D)
D= DR X OP
SP = OP - D

out that the bundle cost P2,500.00 and was selling at a discount rate of
15%.
