The carbon footprint calculator helps people be more aware of their contribution to the
current environmental problem and what they can do to lessen their impact on the
environment. With that, it is important to know how much carbon footprint we produce in
our life so we are able to live our life with knowledge as to how we are contributing to the
problems of the biosphere, we are able to understand how the small actions we create adds
to the carbon footprint we produce, and we are able to do something about it. As a young
Filipino citizen, there are small acts which I can do to achieve goals of environmental
sustainability, things such as the reduction of electricity I use in my day to day life, which
means I should only use appliances when needed, reducing my consumption rate and
switch to locally grown products, I should also travel smart, use bicycle or walk instead, and
also at least have a proper family planning as early of today. These actions I can take will
significantly help our world, and people should also be properly aware about these .
