Di Indonesia, di salah satu provinsinya, yakni Sulawesi Tenggara, ada sebuah


makanan bernama Kapusu Nosu. Banyak orang mungkin tidak familiar dengan namanya, tapi
makanan ini terbuat dari jagung tua yang direbus dan dijadikan semacam bubur sebagai
makanan pokok pengganti nasi. Cara membuatnya juga mudah. Jadi, jagung tua ditumbuk
agar sedikit hancur lalu dimasukkan ke air mendidih hingga matang. Setelah itu tuangkan
santan, lalu masukkan garam dan gula. Aduk rata sampai jagung empuk dan kuahnya
mengental. Selesai, siap disajikan.

In Indonesia, in one of its provinces, Southeast Sulawesi, there is a food called


Kapusu Nosu. Many people may not be familiar with the name, but this food is made from
old corn that is boiled and made into a kind of porridge as a staple food instead of rice. It’s
also easy to make. So, the old corn is pounded so that it is slightly crushed and then put into
boiling water until cooked. After that, pour in coconut milk, then add salt and sugar. Stir well
until the corn is tender and the sauce thickens. Done, ready to serve.
