Di Indonesia, di salah satu provinsinya, yakni Sulawesi Tenggara, ada sebuah
makanan bernama Kapusu Nosu. Banyak orang mungkin tidak familiar dengan namanya, tapi makanan ini terbuat dari jagung tua yang direbus dan dijadikan semacam bubur sebagai makanan pokok pengganti nasi. Cara membuatnya juga mudah. Jadi, jagung tua ditumbuk agar sedikit hancur lalu dimasukkan ke air mendidih hingga matang. Setelah itu tuangkan santan, lalu masukkan garam dan gula. Aduk rata sampai jagung empuk dan kuahnya mengental. Selesai, siap disajikan.
