1. Ít hoặc gần như không thay đổi nghĩa:

2. Thay đổi nghĩa:
+ remember / forget / regret + Ving: nhớ / quên / nuối tiếc việc đã xảy ra rồi (trong
quá khứ);
+ remember / forget / regret + to V0: nhớ / quên / nuối tiếc việc chưa, sắp xảy ra
(trong tương lai).
Eg: Don’t forget to turn off the light when you go to bed.

+ stop + Ving: dừng hẳn một việc gì;
+ stop + to V0 : dừng … để …

+ need + Ving = need + to be + V3: cần được (bị động);
