Qualifications Considering Inflation Rate and
Adoption of Enhanced Formula in its Number D72 series of 2021

In the interest of service and in view of the increase in inflation rate and adoption of
the enhanced formula in the determination of assessment fees, the Qualifications and
Standards Office in cooperation with Department of Finance's National Tax Research Center
(DOF-NTRC), reviewed and updated the Assessment Fees (AFs) of various qualifications
promulgated in 2016 to 2020.
With this, through TESDA Board Resolution No. 2021-31, the Board has approved
and promulgated the increased assessment fees for the following 142 qualifications during
the 131st TESDA Board Meeting on 13 July 2021:

The above assessment fees include the assessor's fee of Three Hundred Nineteen
Pesos and twenty centavos (Php319.20), per candidate per qualification or COC
(Certificate of Competency). Except for the following qualifications, which have higher
assessor's fee, due to certain conditions in its assessment activities:
• Slaughtering NC II (Swine) and Slaughtering NC II (Large Animal) - Assessor's fee

per candidate per qualification is Three Hundred Fifty One Pesos and ten centavos
(Php 351.10) which includes ten (10) percent night differential, with a maximum of
ten (10) candidates per assessment activity.
• Transmission Line Installation and Maintenance (TLIM) NC II, NC III and NC IV -

Assessor's fee per candidate per qualification is Six Hundred Thirty Eight Pesos and
forty centavos (PhP 638.40), with a maximum of five (5) candidates per assessment
activity.
• Mold Making NC III - Assessor's fee per candidate per qualification is One Thousand
Five Hundred Ninety Six Pesos (PhP 1,596.00) with a maximum of two (2)
candidates per assessment activity.
Moreover, the assessment fee for Certificate of Competency (COC) 2, "Perform

upright loom weaving" of Handloom Weaving (Upright) NC II include the Six Hundred
Fifty Pesos (PhP 650.00) salary of the additional Assessment Center staff. This staff will
prepare ten (10) upright looms by warping and loom dressing these, before the start of
assessment activity.
All the Regional/Provincial/District Offices (ROPO/DO) shall ensure that the

accredited Assessment Centers shall NOT charge any additional fees other than the fees
mentioned above.
This Circular takes effect as indicated and shall supersede any issuances
inconsistent herewith.
