QUESTION What measures can you suggest to solve growing traffic and
the accompanying pollution?

In the modern world, traffic congestion and environmental pollution are becoming some of the most serious
problems so several methods may be suggested to improve the situation. Facing the growth of traffic, citizens
should use public transport rather than private vehicles to minimize the number of vehicles. This may refer to
less congestion and road damage owing to avoiding the excessive number of transports which will likely cause
the declining space and capacity of roads. Apart from individuals, the government should also plan for
upgrading transport infrastructure appropriately. On the other hand, the accompanying contamination would
be solved by several recommended strategies including using less energy made from fossil fuels and planting
trees. People should use less energy by using eco-friendly transport or saving household electricity. To
exemplify, using bicycles could improve air pollution in many urban and megacities by reducing the amount of
carbon dioxide released into the air. Finally, people should have an awareness of planting trees in their
neighborhood and this can probably be encouraged by the funding and propagation of the government.
