Hey RANJIT,
📢We are excited to announce some changes that have been made to the AlmaBetter
Comprehensive Assessment Test (AB-CAT). These changes are now live and will
impact your testing experience moving forward.

We heard your feedback and have taken measures to ensure fairness for all test-takers.
We appreciate your cooperation and willingness to share your thoughts with us.

Here are some important updates on AB-CAT test:

📌  We have switched from adaptive marking(different overall score) to fixed marking.
The test total score will now be 1000 points.

📌The passing score or cut-off for AB-CAT has been reduced from 75% to 60%,
improving your chances of clearing the test!

📌  The difficulty level of the AB-CAT test has been adjusted to include 70% easy, 20%
medium, and 10% hard questions.

📌 To compensate for the technical issues experienced by some students during their
testing process, the number of allowed attempts has been increased from 3 to 5 for all
students. This change is designed to improve your chance of entering AlmaX.

📌 Finally, we have worked with Do-Select to enhance test proctoring, ensuring a better
testing experience for all learners. You will see improved test experience from today!

Additionally, it is important to note that scoring 60% or above on the test does not
guarantee entry into AlmaX. We conduct a thorough audit of each question answered by
the student, and if we find that any unfair practices were used to answer questions, the
student will not be allowed to enter AlmaX, regardless of their score. It is also mandatory
that students attempt all sections of the test.

We are excited about these changes and believe they will make the AB-CAT testing
process more accessible and fair for everyone. We wish you all the best of luck on your
