Online Crime Reporting System Using Python Django" is published in the International Journal of Advances in
Engineering and Management (IJAEM) - Volume 2, Issue 9, pp: 785-787. The authors are Preetham HD,
Kuldeep Baban Vayadande, Jain (Deemed to be University) Bangalore and Assistant Professor, Jairolal
Rangamohan Ramakrishnan. This project helps people who are shy or scared to visit the police station and
help them register the complaint. No advance level knowledge is required and identity features will
encourage the public to support police officials. People find it easier to register a complaint online rather than
visiting the police station.

It is helpful to track criminals around the state and country and maintain a complete record of criminal
information. It helps people to search and access a large amount of data in less time. In the existing system it’s
hard to maintain a large amount of data, and searching a particular data takes huge time. People need to visit
personally to the police station to file a complaint. This means that many victims will not come forward for fear
of reprisals.

An online crime reporting system that allows the victim to file a complaint and give an anonymous tip to the
police. Every data is stored safely with backup so there is no data loss. Its main goal is to control crime and
bring justice to the people on time. This helps the police to manage a large amount of data in a very efficient
way. Steps 1-8 - Manage the complaints and provide a complaint register id.

the complaint status. A project to help people who are afraid to visit the police station or quarantined to register
complaints online. The government can implement this project with a better GPS tracking and cloud storage
