Bread Is Pretty Harmless for Consumption

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
A week ago on Sunday, I have a conversation with my older sister when she came to
visit me in my boarding house. That time, I bought three packs of wheat bread for me to eat
for a whole day. She had not liked bread since she was born, thus telling me that eating those
bread would do harm to my health because apparently, bread contains negative press about
gluten, protein, barley and et cetera. I could not more disagree than I was with her, because
what I ate was not any kind of bread but whole-grain bread, which is good for my healthy
diet. I will outline why I think that eating bread would makes me healthy because factly, it
could maintain a good heart and control the appetite.
Firstly first, bread could help prevent and lowering the risk of heart disease. That is
because it is a very good source of nutrition, especially manganese and selenium. Manganese
is an essential mineral that has a role in blood clotting, controlling blood sugar levels and
supporting brain function. Therefore, selenium is another essential mineral that could protect
my tissues from the toxicity of heavy metals. Those two are important for maintaining a
healthy heart. Based on the research of featured in The BMJ (2016), whole grains may
decrease the risk of coronary heart problems. Thereafter, bread could prevent any heart
diseases because it contains an excellent source of nutrition.
Secondly, bread also has essential nutrients that could control the appetite. The reason
is that it contains enough proteins and fiber. Protein reduces hunger hormone levels, which
could help me feel fuller without eating a lot. Thus, fiber is another essential mineral that
could keep me from digesting my movement system and hold the feeling of fullness much
longer. According to the British Journal of Nutrition review (2015), eating whole-grain bread
as a Mediterranean-style diet could help reduce body weight and belly fat. Therefore, that is
why bread could help controlling the appetite because it has not-too-much protein and fiber.
To sum up, I believe that eating bread is perfectly fine and healthy. It is because bread
is sourcing excellent nutrition, protein and fiber that could help me balance the blood in my
body and control my appetite in order to keep me from obesity. So it is not a bad idea to
make bread as our healthy diet. As long as I keep balancing it with other healthy stuff like
physical exercise, not over-eat or over-less the bread consumption, it could be fine. Bread is
actually very harmless, otherwise it would not be called as staple food in this world.
Thank you very much.
