Speaking
I have to say that I am a big fan of film. I regard it as my best way of of relaxing myself after a
whole day’s work and study although it always kind of attracts me and ends up wasting my time
with it. And, romantic comedies is my cup of tea. The main reason why I’m into this type is that
I really adore the happy endings of those movies. You know, I like movies that can make me
laugh and even keep me smiling for the next few days. Besides, I’m also into some of the ones
that keep me thinking all the way through too, “A Beautiful Mind” or “The Fifth Element”. And
some classic old movies and American comedies appeal to me.
I watch movies at home every day, 1 episode per day at least. I often choose a good series to
follow, you know, sometime a romantic one, some are the latest or simply just something
recommended by my friends. And if there is an interesting movie playing at the cinema, I’ll go to
see it with my friends sometimes, but just sometimes because I don’t have that much money if
you know what I mean, the cinema tickets are very pricy to me.”

Nowadays, together with technology development, there are types of media that appear to serve
people lives. There are two common types of media which are known as traditional media and
digital media. Traditional media refers to all the outlets exist before internet such as newspaper,
magazines or radio… while digital media is about online platform including email, facebook and
so on… Personally, digital media is my cup of tea because with digital media, I can easily access
news and keep myself updated every time and everywhere. I am addicted to social media,
especially facebook where I can make friends with other people around the world. We chat, talk
and exchange information about life, custom and culture. So, I can not only have more friends
but also get useful knowledge. Honestly, I think that digital media will replace traditional media
due to the benefits and convenience that it brings to users

In my memory, there have been countless (ko đếm được/ vô số) disasters happening here in my
beloved country, Vietnam such as hurricane (strong storm), forest fire, flood, earthquake and so
on… I witnessed such an unforgettable nature disaster in VN 2 years ago
A week prior to the upcoming of the storm, all TV channels broadcast the news about it, and the
government encouraged people who live in the way of the storm’s movement to move to safer
place. It was really hard to take people out there within just one week, so the army as well as
volunteers joined hands together help them. Luckily, around 90% of people changed to safe
place.
And, a huge tidal wave crashed down the coastal areas and swept away all houses and other
architectural structures. The volume of water was so enormous that everything all was
destroyed. This storm came and brought along downpour in 5 days and caused flood also.
After the storm had gone, the damage was known with houses and daily facilities. Luckily, no
one died in this storm. Immediately, all the volunteers and soldiers joined to re-build houses and
provided foods and fresh water to people.
This disaster was the most horrible one to ever happen in the last 2 years

Here is short talk about water pollution, its causes and how it can be controlled. A human body
could survive without food for three days but it cannot survive without water for a day. It has
been used by a living organism for ages. Life without water cannot be imagined. Water is the
most important element that cannot be replaced by any others. Due to the continuous use and
exploitation, there is water pollution occurring all around us.
Water pollution is considered a major issue in every country as many people die because of
unknowingly drinking polluted water. The condition of water pollution is so bad that every year
million children die from malaria.
The reasons for water pollution are oil leaks, no proper (careful) waste, and sewage treatment.
Children drink this contaminated water that causes a major bacterial attack on the digestive
system, which results in diseases .
Water pollution could be controlled if needed precautions are taken. It is the responsibility of the
government to come with new scientific methods for handling domestic sewage and
garbage. The harmful industrial effluents should be optimized carefully before discharging into
water bodies.
Water pollution could be controlled if necessary measures are taken by everyone. Humans have
exploited the resources provided by the Earth for a very long time and the result of that
exploitation is various pollutions like water, air, etc. As a responsible human being, who wants a
better future for the coming generation takes care of your surroundings. Do not throw garbage
near water bodies and report anyone who does.
