Reflect on these questions. Give your honest answer.

1. As soon-to-be teachers of the 21st century education, what do you expect of your
students?
- As soon-to-be teacher of the 21st century education, I am expecting that my
students will be more confident and/or comfortable in using new and advanced
technologies. They should not get intimidated in using it. Also, I expect my
future students to be creative, innovative, has great critical thinking and
communication skills, for me, those are the very important skills to have when
you’re in a 21st century education.

2. Do you expect your learners to be perfect? Why and why not?

- No, because nobody’s perfect. There were always a room for improvements.
They are just human beings who commits mistakes and has always something
to learn. I believe that God is the only one who’s perfect and my future
students isn’t God. Yes, there are good students, very good students, but that’s
not enough to call them perfect because there isn’t. As their future teacher, I
won’t expect them to be perfect rather I expect them to be a person who’s
always willing to learn.

3. Is your classroom a safe place for them to make and commit mistakes?
- Yes, I should consider my future classroom a safe place to commit mistakes,
also place for improvements. Our classroom should be a comfortable space for
them because it will be helpful for them to act as who they are. In that way,
they will enjoy learning. And if they make or commit mistakes, they should
learn from it, and forget it. We will just create a new fun memories because if
we will let ourselves stuck in the past, we will always tend to bring out their
mistakes, it will be uncomfortable for them, and may lead to unhealthy
classroom environment, which I don’t want to happen. I always believe that
students learn from their mistakes, and as their teacher, it is my job and/or
responsibility to lead them in the right path, to correct their mistakes, and help
them improve.
