COURSE DESCRIPTION : This course deals with the teacher as a person and as a
professional within the context of national and global teachers’ standards and educational
philosophies. It will include professional ethics, core values, awareness of professional rights,
privileges and responsibilities as well as their roles in the society as a transformative agent of
change.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES:


1. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the teaching profession.
2. Analyze the Philippine professional standards for teachers.
3. Evaluate researches about the teaching profession
4. Organize an education conference to learn from experts in the field of education.

4. Researches with five year recency “How do I keep track with the PPST
GRADING SYSTEM:

Class Standing: 70%


Major Exams: 30%
Passing Percentage for Professional and major subjects: 60%
