From medicine to pharmacy

Ever since I was a child, I wanted to be part of a medical staff. I can say that my
plans for the future have changed many times in the last three to four years. As a child
I wanted to become a pharmacist. Later I wanted to become a nurse and in my senior
year of high school, i wanted to be a doctor. I took the first step towards turning this
dream into reality when I decided to take the entrance exam to medical school from
the University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Grigore T. Popa” Iasi.

I chose this college out of a desire to work in the medical field to help people
and capitalize on a profession that would have fulfilled me spiritually. I have been
passionate about organic chemistry and anatomy since high school and I think this was
the first step in opting for this profession. At the end of my high school years, I tried to
go to a college that would deepen the subjects of chemistry and anatomy, but that
would give me the opportunity to study in a field that would always arouse my
interest. I chose this college on the advice of the family but also of the teachers from
the general school and from the high school.

Unfortunately, I was not admitted to this college, but I was assigned to the
pharmacy faculty, where i dreamed when I was little. Although it was not my first
choice, I am happy that I ended up studying here. I discovered unknown things about
plants, I saw and I did amazing experiments.

Being a student I got to know wonderful people, to participate in extracurricular

activities to help me choose the future specialization.

I am very happy that I got to study at the college I wanted and to have the
opportunity to work in the dream field.
