TITLE Reasons why I choose pharmacy
INTRODUCTION I grew in high school with great interest in chemistry, first I want to
become a chemist, but I lacked of direction. So I study pharmacy
because it’s related to chemistry
REASON 1 Great interest in chemistry
REASON 2 Flexibility in career choices
REASON 3 Opportunity to build good relationships with others
CONCLUSION Those are reasons why I confidently choose Pharmacy as my major
in University of North Carolina.

WHY I CHOOSE PHARMACY

I grew in high school with great interest in chemistry, examples about the science of atoms,
molecules, and the reactions that make the world what it is . first I want to become a chemist, but
I lacked of direction. So I study pharmacy because it’s related to chemistry.
My interest in chemistry decided that I would choose the Department of Pharmacy, because
pharmacy was very concerned with chemistry and mathematics subjects for information on the
proper dosage, utilization and distribution of drugs to people and animals.
In pharmacy there are various flexibility in career choices, that is the reason why I chose in
the Pharmacy Department. For example from nuclear pharmacies use radioactive drugs to treat
diseases such as cancer, to animal pharmacies, which make drugs for animals.
Opportunity to establish relationships with others is increasing with the condition that I can
more easily express myself, as a pharmacist I can work with colleagues to make a study or
experiment with various chemicals so as to produce a drug that is efficacious to cure diseases, in
addition I can also establish my own pharmacist practice with that I can provide good drug service
facilities, especially in areas where the pharmacy is still rarely found, I can also work with doctors
to ensure whether the drugs given are in accordance with patient complaints, pharmacy also plays
a role in problem conditions medically, the patient's lifestyle is therefore a major factor in
determining a drug to be given to a patient.
That's the reason I chose pharmacy as my study program in University of North Carolina,
because in my opinion pharmacy covers all the things that interest me, besides getting useful
knowledge I will also get a very pleasant experience. no one refuses to take study programs in
which there are things that we like and are interested in.
