STRESS MANAGEMENT SESSION

OBJECTIVE:
 Stress management session will be conducted by NJV school counsellor with the students
from grade 9th till 12th for 40 minutes.
 The objective of this session will be to enable children with insight about the causes and
effect of stress and teaching them the techniques of how to de stress themselves.
 This is designed with intention of the need of the hour. With the increased pressure from their
studies, teachers, parents, peers and even their expectation from self to succeed in their
academic life, due to which the students are finding difficult to cope up with the stress.
 It will be a very interactive session, where students will brain stormed and shared few
strategies which can be helpful to the group.

FOCUS AREAS:
These will be our focus areas for managing stress such as

 Goal Setting
 Effective study Skills
 Decision Making
 Stress Anxiety Management and many more
 Time management
 Adapting healthy lifestyle

METHODALOGY:
An interactive PowerPoint presentation on stress management.pptx will be presented
including two activities for managing stress which are as follows:
 How to set smart goals
 3 ways to change your life style to reduce stress

OUTCOME:
 By the end of the session, the students will enable to
 Understand the basic principles of stress management
 Recognize your stress triggers and how to manage them
 Develop proactive responses to stressful situations
 Use coping tips for managing stress.
 Learn to manage stress through diet, sleep and other lifestyle factors
 Develop a short-term action plan to minimize and better manage stress
