Subject: Short Term Industrial Skills Training Course for Mechanical 

Engineering students of 2nd Year, 4th

Semester at Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI)-Jojobera, Jamshedpur from 20 th Jan to
25th Jan 2020.
As earlier year, in this year also Mechanical Engineering students of 2nd Year, 4th Semester of SKFGI will attend a
training program named as “Industrial Skills for Mechanical Engineers: Part1” at Tata Power Skill Development
Institute (TPSDI)-Jojobera, Jamshedpur.
Expected outcomes from the training:

1. This course is specifically customized and designed to bridge the gap between the academia and industrial
requirements.
2. This training provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skill along with hands-on exposure on actual
equipment.
3. This course reinforces and refreshes hands-on skills for better Interviews.
4. Certificates will be issued by Tata Power Skill Development Institute to the trainees after successful
completion of the training.
The training program is non-residential full time (9.00 am to 5 pm) and 5 days in a week. The students need to
arrange their own accommodation. Being an Industrial Town, good number of economic lodging facilities are
available at Jamshedpur (within 5-6 Kms from the institute and which are well connected with the Institute by public
transport) where the students can directly contact and stay during their training session. Working Veg. Lunch and 2
times Tea will be served to the trainees during the training period (cost is inclusive in training fee).
The training fees @ Rs. 3500/- (including GST) per student may please be collected from students and DD to be
prepared in favor of the training organization, following the procedure as spelt out in ANNEXURE-1.
There will be only one DD clubbing the amounts for both sponsored & self-financed students.
