DESIGN YOUR PICKLEBALL SESION

Create teams of 4 people and design a session for your classmates with the material that
we have on the gym or material that you can build from recycled things or materials thar
everybody has on their house.

The session should have a warmup general and specific, a main part with the pickleball
exercises and a cool down with a assessment of the session.

Before start you should decide with the other teams what content of the next are you
going to teach:
- Drive
- Backhand
- Serve
- Foot movement
- Individual tactics
- Doubles tactics
The teams can not repeat the topics and you should research and create at least one
page of class notes about the topic you have choose.

The warmup is really easy to create because we have been working on it from the first
day, but you must be sure that the exercises and the specific part of the warmup is
related with the exercises you are going to do on the main part. For example, we don’t
need to play a flexibility game if then we are going to do a strength training.

The main part is the most important part of your session. Here is when your organization
as a team makes the difference.
1. The first thing that you must do is decide and design your SMART goal (search on
internet what SMART goal means if you don’t, know). You should decide a
possible goal to achieve during the session and a method to check if your
classmates achieve it.
2. Secondly, you must design the way to achieve this goal by designing the session
and the games or exercises that you are going to do.
3. Once you have your exercises and games ready, you should think about the best
methodology and way to organize the session in order to not waste any time.
This means to make a few decisions about:
- Work as a big group, two groups, more groups.
- Work individually, in pairs.
- Organize the session as big circuit, divide the session in two halves and
change after 20 minutes, divide the session in 4 as the components of your
team…

Finally, you have to prepare a good and progressive cool down where you have to assess
your teamwork by receiving feedback of your classmates, so apart from the stretching
and a game you must design some question or include the questions on a game where
you can get some information of the develop of your session and the learnings that they
get.
After the session, is important to take note of the feedback of your classmates to include
it on your task and add some improvements that you can do from the original session.

Fill the document of the session attached in the task and design your own session.
