JUDUL : The Key

SCENE 1

Rifqi is a team leader and he carries two employees under his control. They are Galuh and Dinda.
Three of them work at an advertising company in the capital city. One day, an important client
comes and asks Rifqi for an ad.

Rifqi : Good morning, sir. We’re glad for having you here.

Daffa : Good morning. Thank you. You know why I am here, right?

Rifqi : Of course. An ad for your newest UV glasses. I’ve heard it. (showing the glasses)

Daffa : Correct. That’s the example of my glasses I sent you yesterday. You can keep it.

Rifqi : Wow, this is amazing. Thank you very much! Your company is the best at making products. It’ll
be easy for us to make an ad with this.

Daffa : I trust you, sir. Don’t dissapoint me.

Rifqi : Of course, sir. You can trust us for this. How about the contract?

Daffa : i’ll sign it after seeing the proposal in a meeting.

Rifqi: Alright then. I’ll contact you again when everthing is ready.

Daffa : Okay thank you, sir.

Daffa leaves Rifqi’s online meeting room and Rifqi immediately calls Dinda and Galuh.

Dinda : What can I help you?

Rifqi : Are you guys done with your shoes ad project last week?

Dinda : We’ve done it

Galuh : Yeah we’ve done it, sir.

Rifqi : Okay, so we have a new project for a glasses. Um this client is so important so you better
make the best proposal you’ve ever done. We’ll have a meeting in three days and compare the
results.

Galuh : I believe there’s a bonus for this. Am I right?

Rifqi : Yeah, you’ll get promotion. Is that good?

Dinda : Oh really? I’ll try my best, sir. You can trust us.

Galuh : We’ll make it as the best ad.

SCENE 2.

After three days, Galuh and Dinda alternately give the proposal they made via call.

Galuh : Sir, the proposal I made is being sent to your email. I’m looking forward to your review.

Rifqi : Yep, thanks girl.

Galuh : Okay, sir.

Galuh ends the call with Rifqi and get a call from Dinda.

Galuh : Hello Dinda! Wanna give the proposal too?

Dinda : Um yeah. Is he active?

Galuh : Uh-huh. You can text him or call him.

Dinda immediately calls Rifqi.

Dinda : Excuse me, sir. The proposal you asked me to do is sent to your email. Please check it soon.

Rifqi : Yep, thanks girl.

Dinda : Okay, sir.

Rifqi looks at the proposals on the laptop and read it right away. He reads them thoroughly, slowly
while slurping his coffee.

SCENE 3.

Rifqi contacts Daffa as soon as he makes a choice between them. He has to hear Daffa’s perspective
too.

Rifqi : Hello, sir. Are you busy?

Daffa : Oh, Hello. I’m not. Are you done with it?

Rifqi : Yeah, so I want to ask you about the meeting we promised before. Do you have free time
tomorrow morning? We’ll hold an online meeting.

Daffa : I do. What time should I get in?

Rifqi : Around 8, sir.

Daffa : Got it. I’ll be on time.

SCENE 4.

Rifqi, Dinda, and Galuh is sitting in the online meeting room for 25 minutes straight, but Daffa
doesn’t get in yet.

Galuh : This is not gonna work. He won’t attend.

Dinda : Yeah, oh my gosh. It’s 8:25. I still have many works left and he is wasting time.
Rifqi : Ugh sorry. Pull youself together and I’ll call him while making coffee downstairs. Wait for 5
minutes more, okay?

Galuh : Sure, I hope he comes in 5 minutes.

Rifqi left the screen and they start to nag.

Galuh : Ugh I hate people when they waste my time.

Dinda : I wanna make coffee too. I’m kinda sleepy after stayed up late last night.

Galuh : You had coffee, Dinda. You finished it literally 10 minutes ago.

Dinda : Shut up I’m still tired

.....

Dinda : Anyway, where is them, though?

Galuh : Who?

Dinda : Are you kidding me?

Galuh : Haha relax, bud.

Rifqi comes with a cup of coffee in his hand and still calling Daffa with his other hand. He still can’t be
contacted.

Rifqi : I’m afraid we have to cancel this meeting. He’s not answering.

Galuh : I knew it.

Suddenly, his voice is heard on the phone.

Daffa : Hello?

Rifqi : Oh Hello, sir. Do you remember about a meeting we supposed to hold today? We’re here for
about 30 minutes.

Daffa : Oh God, I’m so sorry I forgot to inform you. I have something important to do and I’m out of
town today. Can we postpone it?

Rifqi : Sure. I’ll tell my staffs.

Daffa : Thank you.

He ends the phone call.

Rifqi : The meeting is postponed to tomorrow morning at 8. Thank you and go back to your daily
work.

SCENE 5.

Four authorized people have entered the online meeting room. They all so silent berofe Rifqi opens
the meeting.

Rifqi : Good morning, I’m the team leader Rifqi Kurniadi and let’s get started.
Rifqi sends both of proposals to Daffa to be seen.

Rifqi : Galuh, you can present first.

Galuh : Okay so good morning, I’m Galuh and i’ll present my proposal. As we know that this glasses
changes color when you’re in the sun. Therefore, there needs to be a contrasting light change to
highlight it.

Daffa : Okay.

Galuh : For the radiation highlight, the model will play a phone using this glasses besides the second
model that does not wear glasses, and shows the difference between them. The second model’s
eyes will get tired faster.

Daffa : (humming)

Galuh : For the color highlight, I take a rainy set and back to bright. So when the model faces the
sunlight, the color of the glasses will change.

Daffa : I love the idea.

Galuh : Thank you so much. That’s all from me, thank you.

Rifqi : Go ahead, dinda.

Dinda : Thank you for the opportunity. I’m Dinda and I will present my proposal. Reverse of Galuh’s
idea with a cool and quiet set, I took a spot on a sunny beach. A model will act photo with the
glasses on, so the color highlight is visible.

Daffa : uh-huh okay

Dinda : After that the model will receive an important message and she can read it without having to
cover the phone screen by hand to block out the light. That can be the highlights of the radiation.

Daffa : okay good.

Dinda : Thank you so much. That’s all from me, thank you.

Rifqi : Okay, so what do you think about these two, sir? Which one do you prefer?

Daffa : Yeah you guys did a good job. This is a great idea, but I like the rain idea more. Sounds so
natural. What about you, Rifqi?

Rifqi : Well, in my opinion, I prefer the beach one. The highlight is just the glasses and the model and
we can see it clearly. But it is up to you, sir. I’ll accept evertything.

Daffa : Well I don’t know. What do you think, Galuh?

Galuh : Mine is better than Dinda’s, sir. Because when you go to beaches, you’ll never find someone
who wears radiation glasses. They all use the black one to literally block all the sunlights.

Daffa : Got it. Dinda?

Dinda : Well sir, the rain scene one is too classic and everybody uses it nowadays. Also, Beach is such
a good concept. Summer is coming and rain never falls at summer.

Rifqi dan Daffa didn’t know that both of these concepts are so interesting, especially with the right
color and tone composition. They sigh.
Rifqi : (look at his watch) What about...

Rifqi and Daffa : Break?

Daffa : Exactly. Can we take a break for like 10 minutes?

Dinda : Sure

Rifqi : Let’s meet again in 10 minutes.

SCENE 6

Four of them sat back and there’s absolute silence at the moment. They’re busy with each other’s
thought.

Daffa : So, I’ve been thinking about this for 10 minutes, I’ll take it.

Rifqi : Which one?

Daffa : The summer one. I didn’t really like the idea before but your answer changed my mind.

Dinda : OMG are you serious? Thank you so much, sir.

Daffa : No worries. I’m sorry Galuh. Maybe today is just not your day.

Galuh : Nope, its alright. You chose it. Thank you for trusting us, sir.

Daffa : Thank you

Rifqi : Thank you, sir. I’ll send the contract paper to your office this afternoon.

Daffa leaves the online meeting room.

SCENE 7

Rifqi : Dinda and Galuh, you both did a very good job today. I’m so proud of you guys. I guess we’re
gonna grab some ramen for dinner and it’s on me. I’ll send one each to your house.

Galuh : As always, you’re the best! Thank you so much.

Dinda : Yay ramen! Thank you sir!

Rifqi : Anyway, Galuh you can leave. I have to talk to Dinda for a second.

Galuh : Sure. Bye Dinda! Congratulation!

Dinda : Thanks, bye Galuh.

.....

Rifqi : You won this game, congratulations.

Dinda : Thank you, I can’t believe this. Finally I can beat her.

Rifqi : Yep you’re brilliant! You’ll get promotion in a couple of months. Is it good?

Dinda : That’s amazing! This is just like dream.

Rifqi : Okay then you can leave.

SCENE 8

Galuh : Congratulation buddy! You deserve it.

Dinda : Thank you. So this time i’m beating you huh?

Galuh : Ew that hurts but yes. You’re doing it now. I’m gonna beat you next time. Be aware lol.

Dinda : Sure, I can handle you! It’s a piece of cake now.

Galuh : Bet. Anyway I’m so proud of you, that’s really good for you.

Dinda : Yea i’m proud of myself too. I appreciate you for thanking me!

Galuh : Of course.
