Riesa : I’ve been hospitalized for three days, Sir.

Mr. Harry : I’m sorry to hear that. How is your condition now?

Riesa : Thank you, Sir. I’m feeling well.

Mr. Harry : You know, there is an English writing assignment


And you have to submit it tomorrow.
Riesa : Alright, Sir. I will ask Nina about that assignment.

Mr. Harry : Well, you can go to your classroom now. But don’t forget
to do your assignment and submit it tomorrow.
Riesa : I will, Sir. Thank you so much.

Inviting

Cindy : Mirna, do you have a plan this Sunday morning?

Mirna : No, I don’t. Why?

Cindy : Listen, There is a Grand opening and discount package at KFC


for students. It takes for a week. And next Sunday is the last
day.
Mirna : It sounds interesting.

Cindy : Why don’t we go there and taste the new recipe?

Mirna : Sure, I’d love to. What time we will go there?

Cindy : How about at 10 a.m?

Mirna : Alright, should I pick you up or you pick me up?

Cindy : I’ll pick you up.

Asking and Responding Permission

Ridho : Dad, my friends and I will perform an acoustic band for School

Prom next week. May I practise at Doni’s house everyday after

school?

Mr. Ridwan : Sure, but don’t be late for home. Please make sure you are

already home at 6.

Ridho : Yes, certainly Dad. I’ll promise.

Mr. Ridwan : Alright, practise well and good luck.

Ridho : OK, Dad. Thanks.
