FINAL DOCUMENTATION PROJECTS FOR SPL 140 4A AND 4C

Hereunder is the list of heritage houses and structures to be documented vis-

vis the Groups Assigned to each of them. Documentation will involve the
following activities:
1) Measuring the built heritage to be graphically translated into drawings
consisting of floor plans, 4 elevations, 2 sections, significant architectural
and structural details, joineries and connections; architectural details
such as: stair details, balluster, doors and windows, canopies, moldings,
ventanillas, decorative grills, decorative fascia lace, eave vents, machuca
tile pattern, etc.
2) Existing conditions (condition mapping), and changes or interventions
applied shown in the floor plans and elevations;
3) Taking photos of the built heritage and all its significant elements that
show the material, workmanship, design and existing condition; which
includes the following: Facade (front, sides, rear), roof, stair details,
balluster, doors and windows, canopies, moldings, ventanillas,
decorative grills, decorative fascia lace, eave vents, machuca tile pattern,
floorings, ceiling designs, lamps, etc.
4) Researching on the house/structure’s history and describing briefly the
building and its elements;
5) Researching on old photos as supplement to the building history;
6) Crediting the sources of information- Resource person/s, family
member/s, printed materials, etc.
7) Indicating the date when interviews were done.

9) Use A3 size paper, minimum scale of 1:100M. Details 1:50M

Messaging Ethics for all:

1) Message the Contact Person and homeowners during office hours; however, you
may ask permission to message/call them outside office hours.
2) During messaging, greet him, identify yourselves and give your message (i.e., that
you are assigned to document this heritage per instruction from Dean, etc., then
request for a meeting with him for further coordination); after which thank him.
3) Maintain courtesy to all people at all times.
