complete rundown of the second
Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) is
to “end hunger, achieve food security and
improved nutrition and promote
sustainable agriculture.”
 OBJECTIVE

To reduce hunger problem in Malaysia

Corporate control of all parts of food security forces farmers out of business and off
their land. When corporations use land to grow food to sell outside the region, people
living and working in those communities must eat food brought in from elsewhere, if they
can afford to buy it.

work on plantations or in factories. Because they no longer have land to grow their own
food, or money to buy healthy food, they become victims of hunger and malnutrition.

As diseases like HIV and AIDS, TB, and malaria kill millions of people worldwide, hunger
and malnutrition increase. Families and communities are losing whole generations of
people, usually the people who would be most active growing food. Food production
goes down as farmers die, and their knowledge of how to grow food dies with them.
 Way to solve zero hunger by agricultural productivity

Agriculture or farming is the practice of cultivating plants and livestock.

Agriculture was the key development in the rise of sedentary human civilization,
where by farming of domesticated species created food surpluses that enabled
people . Modern agronomy, plant breeding, agrochemicals such as pesticides and
fertilizers, and technological developments have sharply increased crop yields.

Agricultural productivity is measured as the ratio of agricultural output to inputs.

Although individual products are usually measured by weight, known as crop
yields, the variety of products makes it difficult to measure overall agricultural
output. Therefore, agricultural productivity is usually measured as the market
value of final output. This productivity can be compared to different types of
inputs such as labor or land. Such a comparison is called a partial measure of
productivity.

development of healthy foliage. Although you can find chemical fertilizers that contain high
levels of nitrogen, those interested in an organic approach can also make nitrogen
fertilizers by understanding natural products that have high levels of usable nitrogen and
can be mixed or applied to the soil.

Nitrogen fertilizer means a chemical compound in which the percentage of nitrogen is

greater than the percentage of any other nutrient in the compound, or when applied,
results in an average application rate of more than twenty (20) pounds of nitrogen per
acre on the field in which it is applied.
