 Major Project Proposal Guidelines

1. Introduction

This document is intended to help you think about your proposed major project proposal
to be prepared in a structured, precise, and meaningful manner. This document aims to
provide necessary essential guidelines, allowing you to write and deliver a better project
proposal report.

The next section of the document provides typical content and structure for a major
project proposal report

2. Outline of Major Project Proposal Structure of the Proposal

The major project proposal report should include the following sections

2.1 Title of the study

2.2 Abstract and keywords

The abstract should be no longer than 150 words and summarize the proposed
research. Abstract may be structured into background and methods and provide a
maximum of 5 keywords.

2.3 Literature Review

Students should refer to peer-reviewed journal articles and find the research gap in
the existing literature.

2.4 Tentative objectives of the proposed study

The proposed objectives should address the purpose of the investigations, mention
2-4 broad statements that emphasize what you want to achieve, research question
should be feasible and achievable objectives.

2.5 Methodology
Provide information on your proposed design for tasks such as sample selection,
size and methods, data collection method, instrumentation, procedures, hypothesis
(if applicable), and proposed tools for data analysis.
2.6 References
References should be listed in APA format - alphabetical order.

3. Format
• Not exceeding 3,000 words (excluding the cover page, abstract, and
references).
• Line Spacing 1.5
• Use Times New Roman 12- font size and paragraphs should be justified.
