Papilio machaon is a butterfly of
the Orca family. It is probably the most famous butterfly in Ukraine due to its bright color and large size (wingspan reaches 8 cm). Pandion haliaetus (Pandion haliaetus) is a bird of prey, the only species of the osprey family (Pandionidae). It feeds mainly on fish. When hunting, it flies over the water and tracks fish that have risen to the surface, then very quickly descends and snatches the fish by plunging its paws into the water. In the absence of the main food, it can prey on amphibians, birds, and small mammals. Milvus migrans (Milvus migrans) is a bird of prey of the hawk family, listed in the Red Data Book Natural Forest
of Ukraine. It is one of two species of
the genus, which includes 6 subspecies. The nominal subspecies, Milvus migrans migrans, is found in Ukraine. In Ukraine, this species is a breeding, migratory and partially wintering bird.
