extinction meaning that there are
so few left of their kind that they
could disappear from the planet

endangered species including
56 plants , 11 fishes , 2
amphibians , 36 reptiles , 23
bird species and 22 mammals.

MOUSE DEER
The Indian Mouse Deer also called the
Indian Spotted Chevrotain is a very
small endangered animal that is
majorly found in Telangana. By
October 2019 there are only 173
individual of the mouse deer.

RUDDY MONGOOSE
The ruddy mongoose is a mongoose
species native to hill forests in India
and is the only mongoose species
endemic to India. Its population is
slowly decreasing due to increase in
demand of mongoose hair. Currently
there are only few records of this
endangered animal.

The Malabar pied hornbill,
also known as lesser pied
hornbill, is a bird in the
hornbill family. It is one of
the most endangered
hornbill species in India.

BLACK NECKED STORK
The black-necked stork is a tall
long-necked wading bird in the
stork family. It is a resident
species across the Indian
Subcontinent. Currently its
population in India is 10-12
individuals . It is listed as
vulnerable by IUCN.

They are rare as per IUCN.
